Wellness for Entrepreneurs:🎉 The Secret Weapon You Didn't Know You Had  to build a sustainable balance for your work – health life

A calm mind

A fit body

A house full of love,

All these things can not be bought but they must be earned.”

A recent study by the National Institute of Mental Health found that entrepreneurs are twice as likely to experience anxiety and depression. But why? The entrepreneurial journey often requires long hours and dedication, so most entrepreneurs face a constant barrage of challenges and unknowns but the good news is, there's a path to thriving, not just surviving.

Being an entrepreneur is a thrilling experience you will love to have but the hustle is real, and neglecting your health can lead to burnout fast and impede your performance in the long run. Besides what is Good Wealth without Good health?

Imagine this: waking up feeling energized, tackling challenges with laser focus, and seeing your creative ideas flow freely. That's the power of entrepreneur wellness. Take me for example. I used to believe hustle was the only path to success. Long nights fueled by caffeine were my badge of honor, but the burnout was brutal.

Here's the turning point: Studies by the American Psychological Association show that regular exercise can boost creativity by up to 50%, and getting enough sleep significantly improves focus and decision-making. By prioritizing healthy sleep, exercise, and mindful practices, I transformed my experience. Now, I feel energized, my ideas flow freely, and I can tackle challenges with laser focus.

The best part? You can achieve this too!. As a successful entrepreneur myself, I've learned some powerful strategies to balance work and well-being. These habits aimed to keep me energized and focused, without sacrificing my health:

1. Move Your Body, Boost Your Mood:

Exercise is a game-changer! Every morning, I wakes up as early as dawn to have a cold shower and then hit the gym for an hour or more every day making my health a priority. When I workout really hard, I have more respect for myself and for that day, I know who I am and get more focused. It’s very hard to doubt someone who wakes up 5am everyday and hots the gym like it’s their best.

2. Embrace Mindfulness:

Deep breathing, meditation, Solo walks and spending time with Mother nature have worked alot of wonders for me. These activities helps to reduce stress, improve focus, exercise my minds and leave me feeling recharged for the day’s work. Sosmile and have fun while you do this.

3. Schedule short breaks for yourself:

Short breaks not long breaks! You can't be working all through the year and not have a fewdays to yourself to enjoy your "Me Time". I love travelling around the world, you can as well go for vacations and travel to places on your bucket list, Won't you like to explore and have fun?

4. The 80/20 Rule :

This is a simple business rule that states that 80% of all outcomes comes from 20% of causes. This simply means, work smarter and not harder, focus more on the activities that are responsible for success and will bring improved results.

Remember, a thriving business starts with a healthy you. Prioritizing these habits is an investment in your most valuable asset – yourself!

Her are few things that I have learnt⬇️

1. A fit body shows commitment to a craft and no one can doubt you on that.

2. You have to train really so hard and let that translate to your personal and business life even when it is uncomfortable.

3. A rich man at age 80 would trade anything to be a fit man at the age of 30. Unlock your true wealth and potential by becoming the highest performing version of yourself.

Lastly, I learned one important lesson. In order to chase something big you must create space. Find a corner in your home that allows growth. I love my home, it brings me energy, even if you’re tight on cash there's always a way, a foam roller, a yoga mat, things to elongate your body.

As for me, I will rather be a humble middle income person knowing that I have the best health and I am going to live the longest most beautiful life than focus on building a hundred million dollar company having to spend money on medications and surgeries for tumor or illnesses which all results from stress.
